Regeneration: The Art of the Tree

Individuals: $5 per person members*, $8 non-members;
Families of 3 or more: $12 members*; $20 non-members

SHHHH! Sleeping Tree Ahead! Drop by the Greater Reston Arts Center for an afternoon of art-making and exploration of the natural world. You will find inspiration from the sleeping tree in the gallery and the new life growing from it. Have fun creating take-home planters filled with native seeds, creating collages with plant materials and painting with twigs and other natural brushes. You will also learn about the life cycle of the tree and the important role that dead trees play in the forest and the current condition of Virginia’s state tree, the Dogwood.

* For this workshop Reston Association members receive the "member" price.

These workshops are appropriate for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Families will be registered on a first come, first served basis. Call 703.471.9242 for reservations.
