The Greater Reston Arts Center is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of arts professionals. We seek interns who are organized, creative and motivated to gain insight and experience into how a contemporary arts center operates. Internships are generally unpaid, but offer the opportunity to build professional skills and relationships with experienced mentors.
Although most GRACE internships occur during the summer, GRACE staff will consider scheduling internships at other periods during the year.
Summer Camp Interns
Each summer GRACE requires assistance with our summer camp program, particularly for those sessions serving younger students. We are seeking a Summer Art Camp Intern to act as an assistant to the Instructor and Education Manager. Interested college students should submit a cover letter, resume, and contact information for two references to the Education and Public Programs Manager, Sarah Berenz, at email@example.com.
High school and college students are also welcome to volunteer as camp assistants for one session or multiple sessions. To volunteer at Summer Art Camp, please complete the Summer Art Camp Volunteer Application and email it to Sarah Berenz at firstname.lastname@example.org
Gallery & Public Programs Intern (Spring 2020)

The intern will work closely with the Education and Public Programs Coordinator and GRACE staff to assist with daily gallery operations, public programs, and special events.
